THE ADVOCATES

THE ADVOCATES

Justice Advocates are young Christian leaders in every region of the world, who believe that justice is more than a fad. They believe God has a heart for justice. They understand  it’s their divine appointment  to live justice as they love God and love others .

Advocates live justice in a lot of different ways:

They are learners.

They tell the stories.

They are dreamers.

They do the impossible.

They celebrate.

They speak the prayers.

They are the fundraisers.

They love God and love others.

They are architects of hope and inspire others to live justice too.

ROOTED IN BIBLICAL JUSTICE

The Justice Movement is rooted in biblical justice. It’s about patterning our lives after the life and ministry of Jesus.

Jesus came and lived among us to bring us healing, love, and hope. Jesus “moved into our neighborhood” when He came in the flesh (John 1:14 The Message). He drew near to pain and suffering to bring healing and restoration.

When Jesus publicly announced His ministry, He spoke of justice, freedom, and setting captives free (Luke 4:14-20). He ushered in God’s plan to restore us and the world. Jesus heals humanity from the bondage of sin and also brings freedom to those enslaved in many forms of oppression.

Jesus started a movement of healing and restoration, and He invites us to participate.

You may be a justice advocate if you identify with some of these things. You believe justice is central to the heart of God and the people of God. You don’t want to go around the church to make things right. You’ve decided to go through it and to BE the church. You believe the church is uniquely positioned to make things right in the world. Relationship matters. People matter. Justice matters.

If you’re an advocate, we invite you to sign up for the Justice Movement’s email list and join the global prayer campaign for updates on the Justice Movement and our work through the church worldwide.
